The client required software for personal use only and the initial aim of the project was to deliver the MVP in the shortest period possible. When this aim was achieved - project objectives changed and it was required to scale the existing solution to be able to scale it fast to a wider user audience. It was required to keep delivering new features, react to the changes of external factors and provide support to the existing users.
Our team has quickly delivered an MVP for the client with the required features and functionalities. This was a locally hosted solution with basic limited functionality and can be launched only from the local computer.
Shortly after that it became economically viable to continue development and make the tool more agile and powerful. We have completely changed the tool architecture and migrated it to the cloud with the easy-to-use web dashboard, queues functionality, reporting, and many more features.
Together with the client we have developed a product roadmap and implemented it step by step with frequent deployments and visible results. The project is a classic example of Agile development.
The next milestone in the project development was related to another pivot from individual use to an open-to-public Saas approach. We have to rethink the overall architecture yet again and come up with a secure and agile cloud infrastructure for the project.
Our team was able to react to constantly changing priorities, challenges from the market, and requests of the users. The tool is existing nowadays and we still support it.
